Glen Coe in a broody mood. This view as one approaches the Glen from the old drove road over the Black Mount picks out the mass of Buachaille Etive Mor guarding the entrance to the glen. The little cottage belonged to the Scottish Ladies Mountaineering Club. There is quite a bit of pastel work over the initial watercolour washes. It was painted on Bockingford NOT and measures 17" x 12".
